Anthro

Leather jacket: H&M Icons Collection, Sweater: H&M, Skirt: Anthropologie (old), Boots: Asos, Accessories: Karen Walker sunglasses, Forever 21 knit hat, Lionette necklace, random chain necklace, Lionette bracelet, Nike FuelBand, Michael Kors watch, Loeffler Randall Rider bag

I recently fell in love (again) with all things Anthropologie. I stopped going for several seasons. Not because I stopped loving them but, I experimented with my style more and as a result, I shopped with different brands, too. Believe me when I say there was a period of my shopping life when everything in my closet was from Anthropologie.

But, on a recent shopping trip there (seen here), I was inspired to re-visit my Anthro picks from my closet. This skirt was a random sale find that I bought years ago (eeks!). I hold on to it whenever I clean out my closet because it's eclectic and colorful. Despite this fun fact, I have rarely worn it. It actually fits funny and isn't the most flattering silhouette but, I'm always trying to "make it work" - like wearing the skirt as a dress here and mixing patterns here.

  6. Very cool skirt! I have always admired Anthro, but not their prices. They do have really fun pieces though!

  7. I love the skirt. And I am addicted to Anthro. It is the one retail store I continue to frequent. Otherwise I'm trying to only shop consignment, thrift or vintage.

I can see where the skirt might be more flattering if it were a bit shorter.

  9. I love how you styled that skirt! I am right there with you, there was a good year where my entire wardrobe was Anthro. Then I got bored and moved on. Well now an Anthro was built right across the street from my house, so I have fallen into old habits once again. :) However, I am more cautious to balance out my closet with all sorts of different brands now.

  10. I definitely think you made it work here, it looks so cute! But I agree. I have about 5 pieces in my closet I just can't get rid of because I love looking at them, but I rarely wear them.
