It's the first real work week and the first full week of 2014. Unfortunately, I came down with a slight cold after New Year's Day but, fortunately, it wasn't serious and I was already on the mend by the end of the weekend. Since I wasn't feeling like I was full of energy, I kept my look simple and slightly casual. A simple, non-graphic sweatshirt can really make a pencil skirt feel less business-like. Of course, adding a killer pair of heels brings back a little bit of glam so everything balances out. As with everything else in life, it's all about balance.
for someone who had/has a cold, you look simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeletegreat pairing of the sweater + longer skirt! glad you are feeling better, chica. :)

If I were keeping it simple and not feeling well, I would totally be wearing pajama pants and not a cute skirt, lol. Super chic Zaras.
