It's Like Greased Lightening

In a shoot called While We Were Dreaming photographer Henryk Lobaczewski captures models donning 50s era inspired attire and walking the NYC streets with their modern day takeout (McDonalds) in tow.

I adore the contrast between the urban environment and the femininity of the models. There's often a play on the mixing of the "water and oil" environments in fashion and that sort of experimentation is why I continue to have a passion for it.

Now, if only I could pull it off as well as they do...I'm off to find a Letterman jacket and some figure flattering sequin (or leather) pants...
