My husband and I are traveling at the end of the week to spend the holidays with the family. It'll be a fast trip and I'm looking forward to spending our first holiday as a married couple. Not much will change at all, but there's something about "the first year" that just makes you want to mark everything that happens.  The first tree. The first holiday card. The first traditions. The list goes on and on. 

I'm all dressed but had nowhere to go with this outfit. In fact, my husband and I were running errands so we could go on our first bike ride together. Or, I should say, my failed attempt at bike riding. I haven't ridden a bike in years...and haven't ridden a road bike...ever. Thankfully, my husband was exceptionally patient but it's going to take some more practice before we head out on a real ride. Until then...I'll stick to what I do best.
