In case you didn't know, I love going to museums. In fact, visiting museums is one of my favorite things to do in any city. I haven't traveled to many cities (yet) but, of the cities I have gone to, museum-hopping is always near the top of the to-do list. Learning about different types of culture and discovering new information about artists and buildings is all part of the fun.
Over the weekend, I went to the Legion of Honor with a close friend. It's become a tradition with us to see exhibits and then chat in the cafe afterwards - catching up on anything or nothing at all. I mentioned here how the SF MOMA holds a special place in my heart. But, the Legion of Honor holds a different place in my heart because it was one of the first museums my friend and I went to together after she moved from New York City. She loved the beauty and grandeur of the museum and being there reminded me of how fortunate we are to be exposed to so much culture.
