Recently, the husband and I played host for an intimate dinner party. I've cooked for people before but, it's been few and far in between so I don't quite feel confident in showcasing home-cooked meals. Regardless of whether I'm cooking for myself, for the husband or for guests, I typically follow recipes before I venture on my own. I'm familiar with the fumbling of where I'm looking at the recipe and where my actual cooking station is. I become "that person" who "demands" everyone gets out of her way.
Perhaps that can all be avoided if I had handy temporary tattoos like the ones from i tradizionali!? How brilliant to place ingredients needed and steps in a recipe on your forearm! Designed by Marina Cinciripini and Sarah Richiuso, i tradizionali features themed packages that includes four recipes and ingredient list.
The project is on a crowd-funding campaign on eppela (like Kickstarter for us) through June 4, 2014 where people can purchase tattoo recipes and other kitchen gadgets.
HAHAHA Nancy! There's no way to forget a step with those tattoos. Awesome!

ReplyDeletethat is just the cutest idea! i definitely always follow the recipe.. and after I have it tried it a couple of times do I get bold enough to change a minor thing :)
ReplyDeleteHow clever to have recipes as temporary tattoos. Looking down at your arm sure beats fumbling with a book or tablet :)

That is so adorable! And such a great idea! haha
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that's so cool! (Was literally my first thought.) Not only are those practical and sneaky, but super cute too! I could even see a permanent tattoo of a special, passed-down recipe...hmm.
