Fall It Up

Sweater: H&M (old), Skirt: Forever 21, first seen here (similar), Booties: Asos (old but similar), Accessories: H&M metallic beanie, Best Personalized Jewelry monogram necklace (c/o), H&M Paris Collection bag, Marc x Marc Jacobs watch, Nike FuelBand, vintage bracelets, Garnett Jewelry berry trio bracelet x Of A Kind, Marc Jacobs bow ring and CatbirdNYC rings

I associate this skirt and its color with spring, since you first saw me wear it here, but with the weather constantly being fickle in my neighborhood I decided to wear it anyway and "fall it up." The pretty lavender shade reads very feminine to me so I decided to contrast that with the masculine black color to create an interesting hard and soft look. Plus, it only took me a minute to dress. Done.

  8. I love the idea of pastel colors with black! It is such a sharp contrast. San Francisco may be the only city bypassing the heat wave right now. Yesterday in Portland it was almost 95! Crazy! <3
