And Then There Was Light...In Vegas

romper: Urban Outfitters (last seen here - similar style), Sandals: Cynthia Vincent x Target (old), Purse: Coach

Most of Las Vegas life can't be told through photography. The stories are based on seeing the environment and feeling the experience yourself. It's a wonderful game of people watching, sightseeing and adventure. While most people are out and about in Vegas, living a different lifestyle than their own "normal" one, I was caught up in the sights and (unfortunately) the smells (being a California gal, I'm not used to the constant smoking around me).

Seeing Las Vegas during the day compared to the night was like being in a different world. The neon signs are still lit but don't exude the same energy since the sun and heat overtake the experience. A lot more families are out shopping and seeing the hotels. And the glitz and glam of dressing is subdued to combat the heat.

I loved the contrast between night and day.

It's been real Vegas...See ya next time!

  5. Hey Nancy! Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a sweet message. We are VERY excited :). I haven't been to Vegas yet, but do plan to visit in the future. Thanks for the day/night comparison. I'd definitely love to experience both, but I will keep that in mind if we do bring out babe along. Hope to hear from you again soon!

  15. Omg, yes the smoking is terrible. My aversion to it has increased as I've gotten older and I don't even know if I'd be able to handle being in the casinos with the constant smoking. I can't even go to the Indian ones in CA! LOL.

Looks like you had a fun time though. I love your cute smile! <3
