Wednesday Whim - Talent and Them Some

In case you are unaware, I am a BIG fan of A capella singers.  The ability to sing without the aid of music is a true talent!  There is nothing to "hide" behind.  I sure couldn't do it!  To the embarrassment of some, I watch The Sing Off on NBC to further my fascination with A capella singers.   During the last season, I became a fan of the group Committed (who won!).  This was one of my fave performances.

So when Perez Hilton blogged about Mike Tompkins in the summer of 2010, I quickly fell in love.  My fiancé also became a fan and just this week, as I worked for hours on end, he sent me reminder links to listen to Mike Tompkins to cheer me up.  It worked.

Mike Tompkins certainly deserves the accolades and stardom.  Have you listened to him yet?
