To Market

One of my aspirations in life is to not only go to Paris, France but to go to European flea markets. I can only imagine the slew of goodies that are waiting to be discovered.  Going to flea markets requires a lot of patience and a lot of timing and luck, but the experience is once in a lifetime.  You never know what you may discover.  Until then, I can live vicariously through images I find on the Internet and attending my own local White Elephant Sale.  

The local White Elephant Sale near me is doubly great.  The sales benefit the Oakland Museum of California and admission is free!  But, if you can't make it to that one there's always the monthly Alameda flea market.
