We've all been there...where we just want to leave where we are and be alone. There's nothing wrong with that since we all need time to ourselves to reflect or just refresh. But, have you ever wondered what would happen if everyone disappeared? That's what so fascinating about these photographs from Paris-based artists, Lucie and Simon.
In a series titled, Silent World, they have turned normally bustling public spaces into empty and eerie lots. It's surreal to wonder what it would be like to literally be by yourself. Looking at these images actually makes me feel scared and lonely. As an inherently shy person, being by myself doesn't bother me - but there's always a line that can be crossed.
