And just like that, the sun shined this weekend. I embraced the sun as much as I embraced the changes in my life. I put a smile on my face and let myself feel happy. I wore this Minju Kim x H&M dress that literally makes me smile. Pairing it with these sneakers gave the outfit an entirely casual feel. I love the neon color pairing from the dress and sneakers. The weekend weather and the change in time with Daylight Saving made me feel like spring was upon us.

When I heard about H&M's Design Award collection by Minju Kim, I was stoked. While I'm not normally the one to go for exaggerated silhouettes in my wardrobe, I do love seeing avant-garde designs (for the most part). So, the moment I saw this dress in the collection, I was in love. The pleats, the shape and the fit seemed way too good to ignore. I was fortunate enough to nab this dress in my size and was thankful it fit well!

I wore this to an event held by Birchbox a week ago where I was also fortunate to meet co-founder, Katia Beauchamp. She is one of the most inspiring women I have ever spoken with. I don't say that just to say it but, her story of success was incredible to hear in person. Even if I do nothing else in my blogging career, I will be forever grateful to have met some incredible people (not just her but other bloggers too!). 

P.S. I ended up curling my hair at the last minute...so you'll notice straight hair goes to curly hair in the photos!
