Home Sweet Home

Leather jacket: H&M Icons Collection, Babydoll dress: Boohoo (gifted - last seen here), Boots: Asos, Accessories: Asos neon beanie, Nike FuelBand, Marc x Marc Jacobs watch, Forever21 rhinestone, Alexis Bittar lucite and Lionette bracelets, Aldo mirrored sunglasses, H&M Paris Collection bag

My holiday break went by so fast that I am not quite in the groove of work mentally. While I'm adjusting to my regular work schedule, I am totally adjusting to the SF weather. I returned home to find the weather incredibly pleasant. We didn't do much of anything since we just wanted to relax so I grabbed this babydoll dress from my closet (last seen here) for an easy but put together look. I love the relaxed fit of the dress. It's especially helpful in making me feel better about all the food I ate during my break.

It's Not Just You, Babydoll

Babydoll camo dress: BooHoo (gifted at iFabboSFCon - UK brand now available in USA!), Shoes: Zara (old but similar at Shoemint), Accessories: H&M beanie, Alexis Bittar, Alisa Michelle and vintage bracelets, Diesel watch, Loeffler Randall Rider bag

By nature, I'm an introvert. Blogging is a forum I love and yet the thing I love about it (networking) is also what makes me very nervous (being social). After reading this article about being an introvert I realized that there are hundreds/thousands/millions of other people in the world who feel the same way. Sure, I understood the definition and I knew I was considered an introvert, but after reading this article it was a serious moment of clarity where I thought, "hey, that's EXACTLY how I feel!" So, perhaps I was not really aware after all.

So, I took a step and went to the SF Conference hosted by iFabbo. I admit, I was not the best networker. I have a lot to learn. But, I felt good stepping out of my own box and trying to stop being my own worst enemy. It was great to learn from others and meet people I would not have met before.

Because of this event, I was introduced to a new to me brand called,
BooHoo. They're based in the UK but recently launched in the USA. They showcased several items at their booth and this camo babydoll dress caught my eye. You may have seen me IG this dress on Saturday. I immediately wore it on Sunday. I normally don't think babydoll dresses flatter me but this particular one has a good balance of fit and slouch. I can't wait to shop some more pieces from BooHoo.

(P.S. Just so ya know, this post is NOT sponsored)
