When done well, the use of negative space in photography is eye-catching. Italian-based photographer, Vittorio Ciccarelli, does this especially well in his Invisible series. He uses the clear blue sky as a stark backdrop against architectural features. His combination of negative space and bold colors makes the photos pop.
These photographs remind us all that seemingly ordinary objects can be extraordinary.
