Holiday Dressing

Leather jacket: H&M Icons Collection (last season but similar here) Turtleneck: Gap, Stripe midi skirt: Vintage, Heels: Sole Society (old), Accessories: Baublebar necklace, Free People sequin bag

Thank you dear readers for your congratulatory notes on my news yesterday. I cannot begin to describe the experience and reality of it all but, it is so amazing to have people express such enthusiasm about it all.

I can say that dressing up while pregnant is incredibly foreign to me. Obviously, my body is changing and I'm not accustomed to dressing this new frame. But, this new shape is also a challenge and I love to take that on.

I don't always dress up during the holidays (mainly because I don't always have somewhere to go) but, I was in the mood this past weekend with this vintage midi skirt. The fact that it still fits me is definitely a plus. With such a dark color palette in the outfit, I brightened things up with my fun sequin bag. It added just enough holiday sparkle to my outfit.

  7. such a pretty outfit! i was wondering what on earth i would wear for my husband's annual company holiday party but (thankfully!) i get to get out of it since we have a dogvacay guest staying during the same time the party is held. i kinda had a full blown dance party inside because those kind of spaces aren't really my thing. but i do love getting ready for them ;)

  14. Great outfit - a good mix of feminine and edgy pieces. I don't get to go dress up much either but when the mood strikes, I will put out something sparkly.
