Gal's Day

T-shirt: Target, Skirt: Derek Lam x Kohl's (old), Sandals: DV x Dolce Vita, Accessories: Karen Walker sunglasses, Forever 21 necklace, Big Buddha Bali handbag (c/o)

This weekend, I had a long overdue date with some of the gals in my life. As a kid, I used to wonder why it was so difficult for adults to make time to "hang out." Of course, growing older, I understand how time flies by and how hectic schedules can become. While getting together more often can be sporadic, it does make the times you do get together all the more special. The gals and I spent most of the day together having drinks, eating wonderful food, telling stories and laughing at all the memories we share. Before we knew it, we had to go back home to the lives we put on pause and we promised to get together again soon with new stories to share.

  4. It's always fun to spend time with girlfriends and it is much harder to coordinate now that we're older and everyone has such different schedules! This outfit is so cute and I think your necklace is gorgeous.

  13. Girl time is so important. I don't do enough of that with my girlfriends. It seems my free time is consumed with my son's activities. Great skirt, I really like the length and the buttons on it.
