Wednesday Whim - DNA Plants

all images via Art Director: Gem Fletcher via Behance (photography: Victoria Ling, Set Designer: Sarah Parker)

My attraction to colors and patterns is pretty obvious on this blog, yes? I happened to come across the work of Gemma Fletcher, Sarah Parker and Victoria Ling and I was immediately intrigued. The personal project explores plant cells and DNA and features bold patterns and colors as a result. Stickers cover the plants that are inspired by the structure of their cells. As Victoria Ling describes it, these are "very pimped up pot plants.

  1. This is absolutely beautiful and eye catching! Love

  2. this. is. beautiful. i can't get over those vivid patterns in the backdrop, and what a neat concept with the plants! it always amazes me on how people can come up with such interesting ideas.

  5. These are seriously amazing! I wonder if such plants could actually be engineered.
