Cleverly Concealed

The husband and I had a whirlwind weekend in LA. We usually do when we go to visit family and friends but this one felt particularly fast. Every minute felt like it was booked but every minute was also worth it.

The weather was also more humid than we were used to so I opted for this easy to wear dress with not much else. It's pretty much the exact replica of the Zara dress everyone loved. I love the print so I'm really glad I got it. The dress has a t-shirt structure and hangs loose so I don't feel self-conscious or rigid in it. Most importantly, I was also able to eat to my heart's content and hide the bulge after the eating was over (teehee).

I never ordered from Sheinside before but for anyone curious about the experience, it was actually seamless. I pursued my order after hearing other bloggers describe their positive experience and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order arrived. Plus, for new customers, you can use a 15% coupon when you sign up with them. I'm such a sucker for deals!

P.S. Yes, I'm wearing a (Cynthia Rowley) band-aid on my knee...not in pursuit of some kind of fashion statement or trend but because I really had a cut on my knee (haha...a lot of people made a comment about it over the weekend...who knew a band-aid would create more attention than my shoes!)

  4. I have been obsessing over an almost identical dress from Zara. I would have never thought to pair it with sneakers, but they look awesome together!!

The only person I know that made band-aids a fashion statement was Nelly! LOL. If they are that cute, you should do it. Be a band-aid trendsetter! haha!! :)

I love loose dresses. They are still stylish but yet so comfy. And those Keds are awesome! I really love the color! <3

  19. I didn't know Cynthia Rowley made band-aids, but I'm going to have to invest in some as I've been a total klutz lately.

Loving the Sheinside dress. The fit and flow are perfect, especially when dealing with humidity.
