Wednesday Whim - Piracy

all images via Behance via Piracy campaign for TWA by Mirco Pagano and Moreno De Turco

Can you recognize Michael Jackson's resemblance above? That's his image made from his CDs. And then there's more musical artists' portraits made from their CDs too. It's pretty amazing isn't it? These were all created in 2011 by Mirco Pagano and Moreno De Turco for an advertising campaign agency (TBWA, Italy) for Piracy. Their message is anti-piracy of course.

I can only imagine how cool it must have been to see this in person. What do you think of this? Do you think the message is conveyed effectively through this medium?
