Dress: French Connection, Hat: Reiss (similar), Shoes: Gap (similar), Accessories: Tiffany eyeglasses, Jimmy Choo for H&M bracelet, Frank Gehry for Fossil watch, Bag; Baggu, gifted notebook
When I was a kid, I used to frequent the library a lot. Every summer, I joined the book club there and any night when my family would take me out with them on to dinners with other adults, I would bring a book to read since there weren't any other kids around. I even dreamed I wanted to be a librarian one day. Shall we say that I was just a bit nerdy?
This outfit brings me back to the more scholarly days when I used to dedicate more time to finishing a book and the days I couldn't wait to read what would happen next (with a nod to the days I used to write like I could never get enough thoughts on to the paper - hence the notebook in my hand). It's simple and feminine but still has pops of my personality with bold colors and quirkiness. In the past few years, I have forgotten a lot about the simpler things that used to make me happy so I'm thrilled to "re-discover" my forgotten joys.

Me too! I used to love going to the library and coming home with an armful of goodies for the week! When I was in college, I got a job at the library for just that reason so now I've checked one of my dream jobs off the list! Now how do I go about being a Canadian mountee...?!

Cute look! Nice that your accessories aren't the same colour; I often match my shoes to bag and that's really not necessary I see. :D
