Wednesday Whim - The Manhattan Project

video via Cameron Michael on Vimeo via Complex

There are two things you should know about me:
  1. I've been to New York City to visit but I've always, always, always dreamed about living there.
  2. I love photography.
With that said this video (The Manhattan Project) made by documentary photographer, Cameron Michael, is a combination of both things that I have a fascination for. The video is a time-lapse video of New York City that takes the viewer on a virtual tour of the urban environment. It feels like you're a fly on the wall seeing everything that the city has to offer (good or bad - whichever your take is). It's a reality that feels like a dream, which makes me feel incredibly inspired. There truly is beauty in things that do not seem obvious.

While the concept of a time-lapse video isn't new or particularly innovative (so to speak), the images are stunning and Cameron Michael succeeds in creating a dreamy New York City that could make anyone envious.

What do you think?

thank you, too, for stopping by and leaving such encouraging and sweet words on my last post. it means a lot to me that I'm not alone in this and there are others in the same boat :)
