I hope all of you had a wonderful and joyous holiday weekend. I completely fell out of touch with cyber life (unintentionally) as I celebrated my first holiday with my husband. We embraced and old traditions and created new ones, took time away to spend with family and friends, and ultimately had a grand ol' time. 

One of the most exciting things was getting our first tree together as a married duo! As a historical fact, the first years of our couplehood we lived long distance so we only had one tree together as a couple. Even then we only had a chance to breathe in the smells of a fresh tree for a few days before we were long distance again. This year, we are of course together and of course married so the tree has much more prominence in our lives (literally, as well as figuratively, since our space is quite small). We celebrated the decoration process with cider (warmed up for me and chilled for him), fresh baked cookies, and holiday music. Oh. So. Corny. I. Know. (But I love it all anyway!)

Did any of you fight the crowds for any major deals on Black Friday? Personally, I couldn't take the crowd so I shied away but definitely heard a good bit of news on various war stories. Congrats to anyone who scored! My sort of spending comes on Cyber Monday (TODAY!) and having most of the work done online is a life saver.
