Colored Dots

Shirt: Old Navy, Jacket: H&M, Skirt: Anthropologie (old), Hat: Reiss, Necklace: BCBG, Heels: Max Studio

I've owned this Anthropologie skirt for several years now.  It was one of the first pieces I bought that was out of my comfort zone.  Up until that point, I was a typical college student in jeans and shirts (and admittedly, sweats).  I wanted to embrace working at a "9-5" job but did not want to look like I was stuck in a gray and black zone.  This skirt was perfect in embracing all that I wanted.

I haven't worn it since I changed jobs, but I can't bear to give it away.  I believe that I will be embracing a new change by altering it a little and giving the skirt a new life.  Have you ever felt this way or had a memory attached to particular items in your closet?

  1. I love your outfit. That skirt is too pretty to give/throw away.

I've had issues with getting rid of my clothes too. Despite the fact I haven't touched it in over a year... attachment issues haha.
