Leather jacket: H&M Icons Collection (old), Printed wrap dress: H&M, Boots: Asos, Accessories: Karen Walker sunglasses, gifted patent leather clutch
It's not that I have an aversion to maternity wear, I just don't feel very inspired by what I see available. More often that not, I feel the clothes I see make me feel older than I am. Or they are far more feminine than what my style is. In fact, I find the basics (t-shirts, jeans) more alluring than anything else.
Understandably, it's not easy keeping a baby bump lookin' chic AND comfortable during the latter months of pregnancy (not without spending even more dough on clothes anyway). But, I'm trying to find a good balance. Enter, this wrap dress. It's not something I typically gravitate towards but, right now it fits my criteria of what I need and want to wear. Thankfully, throwing on my leather jacket and worn-in boots added a balanced edge that I craved in an otherwise "plain and motherly" outfit.
You look great! Your bump is so cute .. esp pic #4
