Created by a team at design studio, SoftLab, translucent flowers hang above the New York Melissa flagship to create an entrancing experience for the We Are Flowers collection. Digital technology is used to create 20,000+ flowers that hang from a Mylar net constructed out of 4,000 pieces. The floral installation "drapes" throughout the interior and down a vibrant yellow spiral staircase.
The deliberate accuracy of the installation is offset by the beauty and delicate appearance of the flowers. The design team hopes that the man made pieces are forgotten by the "magic of a hanging garden of flowers." The installation and collection celebrate everything that flowers represent: beauty and femininity.
That is just the prettiest installation ever!!! So stunning friend! Thanks for sharing this one!! Nicole xo
