Boyfriend blazer: Zara (old), Jeans: Forever 21, Sandals: Birkenstock Arizona via Hautelook, Accessories: Karen Walker sunglasses, Forever 21 bib necklace, 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target bag
I had to run some errands downtown the other day and I came straight from work to tackle them. I actually like going downtown during the week (vs. the weekend) since the people traffic is easier to handle. Usually, going downtown means I'm walking around a bunch and since I was wearing different shoes at work, I slipped into the Birks. Love 'em or hate 'em, I can understand why people slip them on to go about their day.
although they've come a long way, i just can't get behind birks. i think they look cute on other people, but they're just on the exact opposite of the style spectrum i usually gravitate towards. i don't even want to try them on lest i fall in love with the comfyness haha

Believe it or not, I still have my original Birks from, like, high school when they were popular. I love them and I am so glad they are back in! I love your striped blazer!
ReplyDeleteI like the striped blazer. Laid-back yet works for a more professional feel too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a casual yet cute outfit! I love the blazer!

That blazer looks like it was made for you! I absolutely love it. I personally can't do the birk trend but I can totally appreciate the comfort and get behind that trend!

Chic casual look! I work in a big city and I am thinking of investing in a pair of birks myself to run around in, though I can't promise I'd look as gorgeous in them as you do - the blazer really dresses up the casualness of the sandals!

love your blazer. i admire your energy for doing errands after work! i sometimes read up on bloggers who work full time and have amazing blogs at the same time and squeezing in other life priorities like errands, etc. and i think how do they do it?! i always felt so zapped and the first thing i wanted to do was plop on my couch and sleep. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit Nancy. Agree. Downtown can be chaotic on the weekends. HaHa
