Wednesday Whim - Life is Adventure

images via Republic X via Marek Farkas (photography by Miro Minarovich)

This adorable series called Life is Adventure reminds me of a previous post I wrote about photographer Anna Eftimie and her series called Blackboard Adventures. In a similar concept, these adorable puppies/kittens are strategically placed within a photo setting to create a story for the viewer. This photography series was created as an advertisement campaign for Hill's Pet Nutrition (pet food company) by creative directors, Marek Farkas and Ken Trevor, art director, Jiri Horut and photographer, Miro Minarovich to promote happy and healthy lives for pets (and their owners). They were inspired by the work from photographer, Miro Švolík, who experimented with creative compositions in photography in the '90s. While the composition is not necessarily new the use of this format for a pet food campaign was different.

You really can't help but smile at these precious pets in these photos. Although I don't own any pets of my own (yet!) I would sure want my pet to look as happy as these pets do!
