Boyfriend shirt: Gap, Jeans: Forever 21, Heels: Zara, Accessories: Karen Walker sunglasses, Best Personalized Jewelry monogram necklace (c/o), vintage necklaces, Jimmy Choo x H&M and HonestlyWTF x Baublebar Ice Middleton bracelets, Casio watch, CatbirdNYC rings, Clare Vivier clutch
Lately, my outfits have fallen into the "put it on and go" style. As I mentioned here, my schedule has been more busy than usual (not that I'm complaining!) but it does leave me less time to focus on other things...like dressing.
Luckily, wearing something like a boyfriend shirt from Gap makes it easy to "throw on" and still feel put together. I've worn this shirt different ways (here and here) but I like how different it appears when the shirt is completely tucked into jeans. With heels, the outfit feels more chic than it does preppy (compared to wearing flats). I wore this to blogger Kate's Birchbox / Ann Taylor event in Palo Alto. I rarely get to attend events with my schedule so it was fun to reunite with Kate, Sarah and Lucy!
Thanks to The Weekend Diary and Daily Disguise for the photos!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great look to throw on and go. I definitely need to invest in more versatile "easy" pieces for fall because I am going to be incredibly busy

Loving this simple look! Sometimes I just feel so much more comfortable in a look like this - simple black skinnies and a loose boyfriend shirt! Loving the big sunnies as well and the lace up pumps!
