If I could see this exhibit in person, I might just pass out from adoration overload. These images are like a fun combination of craft fair meets Target commercial. The amazing graphic designer / art director, Koji Iyma, staged installations of masking tape across Japan to promote mt-masking tape. The colorful and creative marketing strategy has created such a buzz where crowds gather to see the installation in person. This particular one was located in Sendai, Japan inside a warehouse where people could not only see the way masking tape has turned into art but also buy the tape themselves.
Surely if this came to America, I'd be one of the many eager to see it! Check out more images here and the video below!
I have a strong inclination to go running through those masking tapes dangling from the ceiling right now...haha, this is amazing!
