Despite a rainy weekend, the husband and I ventured out for one of the last holiday weekends before Christmas day. We had a long work day on Friday (working until 10pm) but we saw The Hobbit (in 3D and saw the hyped up film speed) anyway. Did any of you decide to watch that?
The husband also treated me to one of the best holiday traditions...watching The Nutcracker ballet. The SF Ballet has one of the best shows around and seeing the beautiful costumes across the stage was breathtaking. I have always wanted to see this particular ballet live! Plus, the War Memorial Opera House is one of those beautiful buildings that you have to see in person.
We capped off the weekend with a quick and fun lunch at the Rotunda in Neiman Marcus before catching the SF 49ers game. A completely festive weekend that has finally put me in full holiday mood.

Adorable outfit!! Love that dress and hat! I love the rotunda at neiman marcus - someplace i always try to go to when I'm in SF! And the SF version of The Nutcracker was my first one - I still remember when my mom took my sister and I to go see it when we were little - it's gorgeous!! (And yayyyy Niners! haha) xo
