I'm not one for mood lighting but, these photos are an experimentation with night time photo capture. I'm not really sure how much I'll play around with trying to capture night images but, I want to be able to capture some good/decent ones when we visit Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena, CA. My husband used to go there for the holidays with his family when he was little so I can't wait to see it for myself for the first time! Have any of you been there (or live there)?
My trusty Hunter wellies have served me well for the past couple of weeks with the rain. I've owned these for so long now and they have held up all this time. Granted, I'm not out in the rain ALL the time but these have been a great investment for me. When I first got them I was worried that I looked "too ready" for the rain. Ya know...like that girl who has everything in her purse in case something happens (yes, that's me too. My Tide To Go has been a savior). But, ever since I was caught in a crazy down pour (where my umbrella was basically useless and I literally had to go to a store to buy a new pair of pants since I was drenched) I've owned these wellies and have not had to worry about my feet. Do you own any rain boots? Do you enjoy 'em as much as I do?

Such an adorable outfit!! You look so cozy and chic! Love the night time photos as well. I've been taking photos in dark light lately because of the sun setting, and my photos have be coming out really grainy. These look very clear. I'll have to read some tips online. :)

Love these night shots! And your outfit is perfect! I've been seeing Hunter boots all over the blog world which makes me think am I the only one without a pair? I feel just a bit guilty trying to justify the cost for a pair when it hardly rains in Southern CA.

Wow! This is really a stand-out outfit! :D And I admire how you get these nighttime shots that are still sharp despite a bit of graininess. What settings do you use, if you don't mind me asking? I always get mine blurry and weird.
