Images via Albemarle Gallery via Nathan Walsh via Flavorwire
Images of urban landscapes have always intrigued me. The details of industrial architecture contrasted with the physical environment is a unique juxtaposition. Naturally, when I came across British painter, Nathan Walsh, and his art I was immediately immersed in his creations. He captures the urban landscape with such realism in his paintings that at first glance, you may even think it's a photograph. The amount of time and attention to detail is not to taken for granted as he subtly re-imagines buildings and landscapes to his paintings to make the viewer feel as if he/she is actually stepping into another space. It's such a different feeling compared to a photograph.
What impressions are you taking away from his art? Check out more about the painter here!
