Playful

For the most part, how I dress is fairly simple in theory. I choose bright, bold and patterned pieces because they make a statement without having to do too much. This is a lot of the reason why I adore this Marni for H&M dress (last seen here). There's a lot going on and I don't have to do anything but throw it on. I love how I can layer the dress with a simple black sweater and make it more appropriate for a work meeting without distracting people with the colors and patterns. Lucky for me, I'm in a creative environment so a bit of playfulness with my attire is allowed. This easily carries into a fun dinner date (or a good ol' happy hour).
