The incredible weather in SF definitely helped elevate moods as well. I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. In fact, the beautiful sunshine convinced me to pull out this H&M dress that I've had for a year now. I actually got the dress while I was shopping for my wedding gown. Ironic right? The dress is a departure from typical ones I usually wear for the warmer months but the print and pop of pink is so much fun! I could have amped up the look with a special pair of shoes, but there's really nothing as comfy to me as my trusty pair of Converse. I know they're beaten and ragged but I really adore the casual appeal. Since we spent a lot time walking around our neighborhood, I didn't want to spend time complaining about my shoes to my husband.
I had such a relaxing and fun weekend that it almost felt like I wasn't supposed to go back to work today. It's definitely a drag to go back to the daily grind but obviously work doesn't wait. As you know from Friday's post, my husband actually had a day off on Saturday so I got to spend a day filled with everything and nothing at the same time. We had breakfast, shopped and lounged together. We didn't do anything terribly special but because we don't get time alone often, it was terribly special to us.
