San Francisco Union Square Tree Lighting Ceremony 2009
It's odd to type out "2009" and realize that 2009 was only two years ago. As much as I comment on how fast time flies by, it also feels ironically long when I "look back." Do you ever feel that way?
2009 was significant for me. That was when things in my life truly started to change. I began to figure out who I was as an adult (which allowed me to feel more comfortable in my own skin...a serious struggle up until then). I also had a wonderful man in my life finally living in the same city (long distance before then). Two years later...we are married and we are ready to celebrate another holiday together, with another year to wrap up and add more memories for reminiscing in the future.
It's hard to sum up everything I feel in one post since this blog only captures glimpses of my life through my personal style journal...but I'm very grateful to spend the holidays with my family and friends. I cherish every moment together and I hope all of you are enjoying similar moments with your loved ones.
