Have you ever had one of those weeks (or days, or hours, or minutes) where you just wanted things to STOP? Well, last week was one of those weeks. I am so glad that my fiance and I managed to accomplish a lot of things over the weekend, but falling behind on other things made the finish line bittersweet.
Personally, nothing makes me feel better than throwing together an outfit that makes me feel good. As vain as that sounds, it is true. For others, it may be a good work-out or a home-cooked meal; whatever that "thing" is, it's important to "make it work." (Speaking of, is anyone else excited for Project Runway to start this week?! WOO-HOO!) I have wanted to pair this top with a pair of cream colored, high-waisted, wide-leg pants that I recently saw at a store--but the see-through linen fabric turned me off. So I "made it work" with the next best thing I had in my closet--a pair of white, wide-leg jeans. For me , the best part of the top is the peek-a-boo back that makes it just a little more alluring than an average top.
Here's to hoping this week I catch up on everything and can rest over the weekend.
Happy Monday!
