Wednesday Whim - Shapes of Cities

all images via Yoni Alter Tumblr via Yoni Home Page

In my home, I have a collection of prints that I started a while ago and have yet to turn into a gallery wall. My husband has been asking me to get a layout done of how I want the arrangement to look like so he can put everything on the wall. So, what's the issue? I'm not sure if I'm done collecting! (*rolls eyes*) I constantly want to add more and having to edit becomes my problem. Now, I have come across the work of London-based designer, Yoni Alter, and I'm considering adding a city print to my collection (sorry, husband!)

The unique design of overlaid landmarks (to scale!) from different cities is so much fun to look at. Since I dream of traveling the world, I feel like I get a glimpse of that through these prints. I also adore the fact that Yoni Alter features cities that aren't typically featured in other city prints I've seen (Tel Aviv, Cleveland or Kuala Lumpur).

The colorful series currently showcases a motley of cities with more to come
